Bakery

The bakery at Gardener's Orchard & Bakery was opened in the fall of 2016. The idea of starting a bakery has been in the Gradinariu family for a very long time. After immigrating to the US in the early 1990's the Gradinariu family of 5 at the time, discovered that homemade bread was hard to find in grocery stores. Mrs. Gradinariu decided to just bake homemade bread every single week for her family. Baking homemade bread, and other baked goods became a family tradition, and when Aurora, one of the Gradinariu daughters, graduated high school she decided to go to culinary school.

During culinary school Aurora discovered that she really had a gift for baking bread. Immediately she was recognized for her abilities to work with all types of dough's and her baked breads were superior to the rest of her classmates. She was nicknamed the "Bread Queen" and that nickname has stuck to this day. After graduating culinary school in 2015, Aurora worked for a local bakery and discovered that she wanted to do much more. The Gradinariu family had a meeting and made the decision that adding a bakery to the orchard was a great idea. The bakery would bring value to existing customers and the local community while allowing Aurora to do what she does best, bake. A few months later the bakery was ready to go and the Bread Queen got to work.

The bakery currently bakes homemade breads, pastries, pies, donuts, and other baked goods made from scratch every single week. On most weekdays if you visit the Gardener's Orchard & Bakery store you'll find Aurora baking away fulfilling orders and making something to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth.

The bakers have a YouTube Channel Called - "In the Bakery"
