Early last week, my brother Val, decided to finally get some work done on the berry patch. Val is the family member behind the 1000 blackberries being planted this spring. One of the most crucial aspects of planting a berry patch is to have a good fence to keep out the wildlife.
With planting season approaching quickly he decided to get working. He started off putting in just a regular barbed wire field fence on the front side of the property facing the road. We had lots of comments on our social media claiming that it wasn't quite an 8 ft fence. Its true only because the remainder 4ft of the fence will be welded on later.
